Rainy Nest

Right after 9 pm tonight the sky opened up just as Nest #22 opened up! It started pouring rain just as almost 100 turtles boiled out of the nest at 55th Avenue. Without the benefit of the moon, it was hard to convince them that the ocean was "that way" but we believe we got them all into the water by 10:00. It sure felt good to get home to a warm shower and dry clothes.  Thanks to Mary P. and the rest of the turtle team!!
